Dual Chamber
So once you mastered single chamber ocarina which is typicaly limited in range, usually players picks a dual/triple chamber to enhance the playable range .
In this lesson we will focus on the confusing part on this Ocarina, which is the big number of holes and how to close only the required ones .
Basically Dual chamber ocarina, can be treated as two separated ocarinas, and most of the time you play just a single note from Dual/Triple chamber ocarina .
In fact each chamber may require different air pressure to be in tune, so it's impractical to play more than one chamber at a time.
With that in mind, even looking at multi chamber ocarinas is less stressful :)
Identifying the chambers
Each chamber will have dedicated holes and windway
To identify the chamber simply blow air with all holes open .
Start to close holes one by one , if by closing a hole tone got lower it belongs to a chamber.
If by closing the hole the sound disappeared, you closed the chamber's labium , labium supposed to be always open .
eventually on dual chamber you will bet two groups of holes that are corelating to each windway . As we mentioned in the beginning , it's just two separate ocarinas in single instrument .
Golem Harmonics Ocarina example
To be more practical , let's overview an ocarina .
Below you can see that we have two windways . Typically the larger one used for the main chamber, and small one used for the high notes chamber .

By applying the above test you will be able to hear that below holes belongs the main chamber :

You can see dual chamber ocarinas made in such way so the main chamber is basically mimics a 12 hole ocarina, so it have to be ergonomically comfortable to play with two hands as in regular 12 holes ocarinas. As you might have guess you can use dual chamber ocarina and just use the main chamber to play regular 12 holes ocarina tabs .
To the beginning of this article , second chamber is there only to provide more clear high notes . This chamber is played only with right hand, and due to ergonomics considerations holes of second chamber will be below the right hand holes of main chamber. The idea is to allow player quickly switch between the chambers, however this require a lot of practice.

To summarize , you just have two ocarinas in a single instrument . Strongly recommended to master single chamber first, and only after that start to extend the range by using the second chamber .
